Blueberries for Val Pattern
Blueberries for Val Pattern
This is an assigned pooling shawl. It’s a 1-skein knit project with knit and purl stitches. When the color changes, change your stitch.
The shawl is knit flat and it’s reversible. A garter stitch border prevents curling edges. The vortex shape gives you the most scarf for a 1-skein project.
Inspired by the yarn colors, Tahoe (blue) and Berry, this design is named for a childhood book, Blueberries for Sal, by Robert McCloskey, published in 1948.
